PRECISION CUTS
The difference between a “regular” haircut and a precision cut is one key point: I am taking the time to see how your hair lies in relation to the shape of your head. It is not about the sections, it is not just about the type of shears or tools used. It is about executing the haircut to the best of my ability to cater the haircut to YOU. If you attend a one stop shop convenience hair store, you get and leave with a general haircut in a matter of a timed experience. Precision cuts take a little longer, but I promise you that you and your hair will notice the difference.
Precision haircuts are what give you a personalized haircut

Precision hair cut service FAQS
-
No! My services are tailored to you and your specific needs… that is where the precision comes in. I keep my service prices affordable and budget friendly and reflecting of my skills in hairstyling.
-
The shorter the length, the more often you may need to come in. Typically anywhere from 4-6 weeks on average.
-
Always and at the guest’s request, yes! I may cut your hair dry first and then proceed with the shampoo and follow with a second cut or texturizing service to complete your haircut.
-
I want to be respectful of everyone and I feel gender neutral pricing keeps my studio a safe space for all. Some gentlemen may have long hair, some women may have short hair. I want to charge according to the time needed for each service and blanket haircut pricing would not allow me to do so.
-
YES!! Sulfates are very drying to the hair and can cause split ends earlier than average styling would produce. Guests with short hair may not be affected as much since their hair is cut so often. The longer your hair length, the more important it is to use a sulfate free shampoo.

Unfortunately, I do not have a regular clientele for barbering styling and clipper cuts that result in high fades or an intense amount of scalp shown. I would love to share with you a local barber stylist you can see for those types of short cuts. I am not licensed to use a straight blade for those looks as barbers’ license will allow for them.
There are a variety of factors that are assessed during a consultation to determine what technique and tool is best for your desired end result. Factors taken into account include: your hair texture and density, any curl pattern, your head shape, how you desire to wear your hair (smooth or curly, with a part or no particular part line) and what your daily style routine is. Sometimes the best haircut for you is done while your hair is completely dry and free of any hair product. A precision haircut is not something you will receive popping in a “fast food style hair cut type of store.” Precision takes time and effort and is not ever rushed! Please allow for the appropriate amount of time needed for your desired look.
