CURLY HAIR

I have trained with stylists who studied under Vidal Sassoon and who have traveled the world to teach other stylists like myself the right way to cut curly hair. I want to avoid causing harm to the hair and the person wearing it. There is most definitely a right way and wrong way to cut curls against their natural direction and type of curl pattern. The way curly hair is shaped is not only by using traditional scissors, but also by using razors and CORRECT texturizing techniques as well. This includes hair that is naturally curly or permed. Which I offer perms too!!

Thinking about getting a perm? What is stopping you? The perms of today produce curls that are safe and effective for your end result without compromising your hair’s integrity.

fine limp brown long hair for perm

This lovely lady has a great head of hair and a lot of it. She likes to keep her style routine minimal and hates how flat, or lacking in volume, that her hair has been.

Before hair was fine, flat, and limp

The solution was a natural looking result with some body, movement, and texture that looks like she was born with it.

After hair is full, textured, and voluminous with curls

I pride myself in delivering a modern day result with my perm services. The perms of yesteryear are just that, in the past. Invest in your hair having a believable result while keeping your hair healthy and shiny AFTER the perm service!

Most importantly, natural results for your hair by a perm orbody wave

Trust your curls in the hands of a curly cut specialist

Step one is ALWAYS a very thorough consultation discovering your curl pattern, differences in the pattern, the density and direction your hair naturally falls, along with how do you normally wear your curls. Do you straighten them more than 2 days a week?? These factors all matter in how your curls will lay and behave. Most importantly after the consultation will be a dry cut of your curls to see where that length will land in accordance to your desired length and then a relaxing double wash at the shampoo bowl, followed with a second cut or trim and then a styling of your choosing for your curls.

*Please allow for an hour and a half for this service. A curly cut on the average head of hair should take well over 45 minutes, and varies from person to person. If you are tired of being unhappy with your curls, I would love to help you out!!!
