Meet one of my beautiful brides, Dana. Her desired look was classic and timeless. Originally she was not sure whether to wear her hair all down, half up, or all up. With a thorough preview that includes various questions regarding: how do you normally wear your hair daily? What hairstyle are you most comfortable in on nights out with friends? or Are you wanting to try something different just because it’s your wedding day? These are all VERY important questions to ask yourself. I NEVER recommend that any bride wears her hair outside of her comfort zone or that will not flatter her natural hair density and texture.

With Dana’s hair, we decided on all up with a few loose pieces of hair throughout so that the style was not too controlled or that looked too stiff. I always lean towards a soft, touchable aspect to your bridal hairstyle. Unless you want to go throughout the day hardly turning your head and living like a statue, it’s best to let your hair shine naturally with a slight hold.
